Missing Compatibility Matrix

Hello,

I've recently taken over patching for some corporate Cisco switches. When I try to update them with Catalyst Center, I get a warning that the ISSU compatibility check failed.

Import Compatibility Matrix for running version 17.03.05. However this is no longer available.

I am trying to upgrade to version 17.09.08 which should be ok.

Can I ignore the warning and proceed with the upgrade or will that cause things to break? I'm ok with a temporary connectivity loss while the upgrade occurs.

ISSU is about upgrade while in operation, to reduce or avoid downtime.
(AFAIK basically by not rebooting the whole switch, but by restarting processes )
-> even if Catalyst Center cannot verify ISSU is possible, it still can upgrade the device,
it should not "break" when the release notes say a direct upgrade is possible.
but there is a risk of downtime ("connectivity loss" as you describe it.)

17.9.8 is also some versions behind ?
what kind of device is this?, why this version? or is this a first step to a recent version?

Why this version? Yes, it's just a step to something more recent. Its a Cisco 9410.

Thanks for your response.
