Hi,
I'm working in a switching renewal project for a customer with Catalyst 9200. The idea is to configure two stacks, the first stack is already configured with three C9200L-48T switches. However, I was wondering if it's possible to add a C9200L-24P to the C9200L-48T stack with no issues so that we have 4 members.
I want to do the same thing for the second stack: a C9200L-24T with another C9200L-24P. The license level is the same and I've read in other forums that this mix is possible for models like 2960 or 3750, but I'm not sure if it applies for the new Catalyst 9200 series. I understand the IOS version must match in all switches and I already verified it.
So, my question is: can I mix a C9200L-24P (PoE) with C9200L-24T/48T (non-PoE and different amount of ports) in the same stack?
Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Hi,
You can mix them as long as they are all 9200 or 9200L. You can't mix 9200 with 9200L.

I understand. Effectively all our switches are 9200L, so I can mix them.
Thanks.
