Moving clients from a dummy switch to a managed switch

Hi,

Setup:

FW -> Dummy Switch -> 3 clients (GW is the FW port)

I have a managed switch where ive configured 3 ports as access and vlan x untagged. I want to remove the dummy switch and put these 3 clients on the managed one.

My mind is totally blank at the moment, cant think of what im doing wrong hence the question

As the 3 ports are access mode, same vlan and untagged, shouldnt it then act as the same way as a dummy switch?

Just plug them in the manage switch and that should work straight away, however you can make a little change to the ports.

switch
int x/x
switchport mode access
spanning-tree portfast
no shut
