I want to setup DHCP on a few vlans on a MS355. I don't want it to do any routing, just DHCP. Routing is handled by a firewall connected up stream. The firewall is acting as the GW for each vlan.
When I do this a default route is created with the next hop entered for the first svi and it won't let me delete it, stating that exactly one route is needed. What am I missing? This may work for the first vlan but the subsequent ones. Will setting the default gateway option 3 to the firewall svi still be effective?

You dont need to delete it. If the clients point to the firewall as gateway the firewall will do the routing. All vlans need to be on the trunk to the firewall

That's what I figured, just a sanity check. Thanks!
