hi guys,
i have seen many PPPOE sample configurations. on the dialer interface at client side and on server side virtual-interface. some times i have seen mtu 1492 and some times ip mtu 1492.
what is the difference between 2 ?
any ideas

Hi Amit,
"mtu 1492" will set the mtu size for the interface in general, that means independently of what protocol is running on it.
"ip mtu 1492" will set the mtu size of the interface for the ip protocol only.
