Multi-chassis etherchannel between 4451X with SM-X-ES3-16-P and WS-C3850-24T-L possible?

I want to set up a network per the design shown below. What I want to verify is if the 4451x with the SM-X-ES3 module will form a multi-chassis etherchannel (MEC) to the 3850 switches.

I don't believe the 4400 series routers support MEC.

MEC is supported on the 3850 and 3750X switches.
