Hi,
Issue : Multicast packet not being forwarded in Cisco-6504 switch.
Device Serial Number : FOX11300RAX
Model : Cisco WS-C6504-E (R7000)
Firmware : sup-bootdisk:s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXJ10.bin
Multicast packet sent from Proxy 1 (Connected to L2 switch) is not reaching to Proxy 2 (Connected in Cores witch) & vice versa. Both the switches are connected directly via a TRUNK interface (Allowing all VLAN)
Verified switch configuration and observed IGMP snooping is enabled on both switches, between Proxy-1 to Proxy-2 connectivity is layer-2 (VLAN 17).
Note : Once both the proxy connected to same L2 switch issue got resolved, multicast packets are forwarded & received vice versa.
PFA.

Could certainly be a bug, but could you post the output of "show interface gx/x trunk" for the trunk ports.
Also could you identify the multicast group address being used by the proxies?
Thanks

Do you have igmp queriers somewhere ?

Hello
I think the reason why it works when both proxys are on the same the core is the core switch sees the igmp report from the host, but when the proxy 1 host is on the switch2 , Switch2 doesn't forward the igmp report thus the core doesn't see it.
On switch 2 apply
ip igmp snooping querier
