Multicast UDP - Excessive Packet Loss

Is there some switch configuration that will improve multicast UDP data for a cisco switch?

I am working on a program that uses a large amount of multicast traffic as distributed simulation data using a Catalyst 2960G switch.  I have observed sufficient packet lost degrading the operation entirely to much.  I replace the gigabit cisco switch with a 100 megabit dell hub and observe virtually no packet lost.

Hi David,

Does your switch counters show drops/losses?

you should upload your configuration also.
