Setup:
VTP Domain XXX (client) <<---802.1q--->> VTP Domain YYY (client) <<---802.1q--->> VTP domain XXX (server)
Question:
Will VTP domain XXX client be updated by VTP domain XXX server? Both VTP domains have different VTP passwords. Can VTP domain YYY client be updated by a YYY server? All trunks configured as nonegotiate to eliminate DTP.

hello chris,
VTP domain names should be same and be directly connected on L2 for the clients to get the VLAN information from the server. I guess in this scenario, the xxx client will receive the VTP information from the XXX server, since the intermediate switch anyway has trunks to both client & server. Client YYY will obviously not receive any updates from the VTP domain XXX server.. I do not see the YYY server, so no comments on the YYY client updates though!!!!
Hope this helps.. have u tested this out... logically this should work, but practically ???
Raj
