Need Help With Compatibility of ASR 1002 and GLC-TE

Hi Experts,

Hope you all are doing well!!!

Recently am facing some issues with ASR 1002 and GLC-TE Copper Base-T Module.

Please see below details:

1. Router Model ASR 1002 and Running IOS asr1000rp1-adventerprisek9.03.04.02.S.151-3.S2.bin

2. Running Copper Base-T Module SFP-GE-T

Now I am trying to use GLC-TE module but port is not UP.

How can I solve this problem!!

did you try turn off negotiation and hard set the port ?

what are you connected to ?

I have these running in our asr 1001x routers there definitely  supported

I think your IOS is updated then mine.

From Compatibility Matrix I have found that, GLC-TE I need to update my IOS to 3.15.0S.

But If I update the IOS is there will be any problem with Previous SFP-GE-T

Hi this matrix says both are supported , you just need the higher release so the TE works too

No sorry its against Forum rules you cannot provide software as its registered by contract paid for so its basically stealing copy right license off Cisco that's the way its looked at  , you need to have a support contract in place to be able to download it from their website
