i have 3 2960-x that io need to migrate off of power before a UPS replacement at my facility. i got a RPS 2300 to try and get power to the switches. i have a 22 to 14 pin cable, but the 2960 and the RPS have 22 pin connectors. i can not find any supporting docs anywhere that fully explain either in detail. can you use the 14 pin, or does it have to be the 22?

@craig.rozewski

Do you mean this?  As your switch is 2960, you should go with 22-pin cable.

A 22-pin connector on the RPS end, and two varieties of connectors on the switch end:

    22-pin connector for Cisco Catalyst 3750E/3560E, 3750v2/3560v2, 2960/2960S/2960P/2960X Series Switches and 2911/2921/2951 routers (CAB-RPS2300-E=)

    14-pin connector for all other Cisco networking devices (CAB-RPS2300=)

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/redundant-power-system-2300/product_data_sheet0900aecd805bbef6.html

all the documents i found only said the 22 pin was for the 37 series. so thank you for that. you wouldnt happen to know by any chance where i can find one in the Niagara Falls area within a day at most. knowing the answer to that before you reply

LOL..Wish I could help with that also.
