Hi,
Probably not a new question but are you guys aware of any network discovery tool/software (for Cisco devices) that I can use to discover cisco equipment sitting in my network. I’ve a fairly large LAN with many switches/routers in many subnets and unfortunately there is no documentation either to figure out which is where and how the topology looks like at least at very high level.
Any help would be highly appreciated

Anything SNMP based will give you insight into links, connectivity and throughput across any reachcable subnet... Check out What's Connected. I've found this product particularly helpful in mapping the topology - the auto-mapping display leaves a lot to be desired, but their L2 trace tool and network inventory portion is ABSOLUTELY amazing.
Not cheap, but definitely worth a look.
Thanks,
