Hi,

Network Load Balancing (NLB) Multicast mode over routed subnet - Cisco Switch  Static ARP Configuration.

  CCconfiguring  Core switch (for adding static ARP table against NLB IP &  MAC)

Here can  anybody guide me which vlan i have to add ?please consider this as a blade server.

Hello,

You will need to add static ARP entries to your switches that route into the NLB VLAN (this is still necessary as the clients are going be accessing the NLB cluster at its unicast IP which is tied to the multicast MAC).

Also make sure your NLB multicast mac address is RFC compliant - meaning it starts with 0100.5eXX.XXXX. This should be created on.
the NLB.

Are you running IGMP on the NLB? if you are not, you will also need a static CAM entry.
