Network monitoring software solutions ?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, what tools are people using and find most useful for Network monitoring, so things like availability, capacity, usage etc etc.

Things like Solarwinds / Whatsup Gold, SevOne etc

Port level based info etc

Not sure PRTG will cut it! we already use that for snmp graphing / netflow etc

I've heard some good things about SolarWinds. I'm interested with their customizable reporting feature.
PI is going not going to last long. In the next two years I can see the slow migration to DNA-C.

SolarWinds NPM works really well.  Pricewise, It is also very reasonable to maintain the annual service contract and the support is fine too.
