hi,
maybe this is not the correct forum but just wondering if anyone can suggest any good network monitoring tool other than solarwinds please (mainly for cisco but would be nice if it can monitor servers as well)?
Thanks

There are also several good open source (free) network monitoring tools like Nagios, Catci, MRTG and Zabbix.

Try monitoring Cisco Routers with our PRTG
The free version of PRTG Network Monitor allows you to monitor up to 10 sensors. The Freeware Edition is completely free for personal and commercial use and may be downloaded at no cost.
We also offer a free 30-Day-Trial-Edition. The Commercial Editions are required if you want to monitor more than 10 sensors. Licenses for our router monitoring software start at $400 / €300.
Disclaimer: I'm working in the company which is selling PRTG so this posting might be seen as an advertisement.
