Hi,

Recently we changed our core switch from Nortel Cisco WS-C4510R+E. After the migration Some of our server always getting ip conflict issue. So  I checked in server log to know with which device is getting conflict. I got one mac address and I searched this mac address in core switch Mac table.  I got the reply as below.

---------+---------------+--------+---------------------+-------------------------
   1      3c08.f6da.aaaa    static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
   2      3c08.f6da.aaaa    static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
   3      3c08.f6da.aaaa    static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch

Hello.

I believe the feature is called "ip device tracking" - http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/address-resolution-protocol-arp/118630-technote-ipdt-00.html

Try to disable it; if it doesn't help (make sure you didn't hit a bug, that do not allow you to disable it :)), please provide duplicate Ip-address log from any server.

Thanks for your reply. When I moved that server interface to Fiber NIC. The  issue solved
