Do you have a prompt? Because By default, Cisco Catalyst C9300 switches do not have Telnet enabled. Telnet is considered an insecure protocol and is generally not recommended for device management.
Shiny new C9300? Login through the management port with the default username is “cisco”; the default password is the serial number of the switch chassis.
there is no username/password for telnet if it first time config you need to use console to access SW and add user mane password and config vty with login local NOTE:- when you add username/password config enable password and remember these password
