I have my client who have a firewall 5520 connecting with its OUTSIDE interface with router's inside interface. All ISP links are terminating on router's sub-interface. The customer is using IP SLA Tracking.
Router is configured with policy based routing with IP SLA, the issue is when he is enabling tracking suddenly Point-to-Point ping is not working between ASA Outside interface and Router's interface (directly connected) although internet is working all fine from LAN side only point to point ping is not working between ASA and the router.
The router model is 4400 IOS XE version: 15.4. with appropriate licenses including Datak9. The customer has also a router of 3900 series with the same licenses IOS ver 15.4(3) M3 and absolutely same configuration but every thing is working fine
