Nexus 1000V, HP Flex-10 port speeds

Afternoon,

We are currently deploying a new VMWare Environment utilising an HP C Class Blade Chassis, Virtual Connect 10GbE modules, BL680 blades with Flex10 NICs, Nexus 1000V virtual switch and Nexus 5010 switches.

i.e.

Nexus 5010 -> HP VC 10GbE -> Flex10 NIC -> Nexus 1000V Virtual Switch -> VMWare

In Virtual Connect the Flex 10 NICs are divided into two, with a 1000Mbps and 9000Mbps interface on each. These show correctly in VMWare.

We have configured a port profile for the Nexus1000V Uplink to the LAN as follows:

port-profile type ethernet Trunk-Profile
  vmware port-group
  switchport mode trunk
  switchport trunk allowed vlan 2-1200
  channel-group auto mode on sub-group cdp
  no shutdown
  system vlan 1094,1196
  state enabled

This comes up just fine, we can connect to VMs on Port Profiles created and everything looks OK. However doing a show int brief shows all interfaces and port channels up at 10Mbps. Initial testing on the VMs suggests the networking is running above gig speeds so this may just be a display bug but I cannot find any mention of this issue anywhere (HP, VMWare and Cisco sites along with copious googling).

My options for forcing the port speed are only 10,1000 and 10000. If I force to 1000 it drops then comes back up at 10. If I try and force 10000 I get an error: Configuration does not match the port capability.

Has anyone seen this before or know what could cause it?

This is what we get if we do a show int brief:
