Hi people ! :)
So I have bought a Nexus 3548, it came with this:
show lic usage
24P_LIC_PKG Yes - In use Never -
24P_UPG_PKG No - Unused -
LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG Yes - In use Never -
I must have gotten a bit confused while ordering, because I was 100% sure that this would provide me with vrf-lite functionality ? Does anyone know ?

Hi,
There is also this document that says/
VRF-lite requires an Enterprise services license.
link:
Can you test by trying to configure a vrf context?
vrf context test
etc..
interface ex/x
vrf member test
Can you issue any of these commands with the license you have?

It is so confusing, I also found the document that says it dont need enterprise. As of now I have installed an eval for enterprise - and all works.
But when I started out I was able to make vrf's with the lics I listed. No problem.. I did have a problem creating subinterfaces and other...
The strange thing is that now, I Have this (added the eval):
Feature Ins Lic Status Expiry Date Comments
Count
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
24P_LIC_PKG Yes - In use Never -
24P_UPG_PKG No - Unused -
LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG Yes - In use Never -
ALGO_BOOST_SERVICES_PKG No - Unused -
LAN1K9_ENT_SERVICES_PKG No - Unused -
LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG Yes - Unused 13 Oct 2018 -
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have enabled lots of stuff...:
feature telnet
feature bash-shell
feature scp-server
feature ospf
feature bgp
feature interface-vlan
feature hsrp
feature lldp
feature vtp
feature nat
But when I try to look at what lic is for what.. there is nothing. Looks like the ent is not even in use ? I do not understand why ? Now I have bgp running, vrf's.. ospf..etc. and this is the output:
xxx-001(config)# sh lic usage LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG
Application
---------------------------------------
ospf
---------------------------------------
xxx-001(config)# sh lic usage LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG
---------------------------------------
xxx-001(config)# sh lic usage LAN1K9_ENT_SERVICES_PKG
---------------------------------------
xxx-001(config)#
xxx-001(config)#
I do have one more nexus, I am going to unpack it now and try the same config without installing an eval..
