Nexus 5000 topologies

Good morning,

I have some questions regarding the topology options for the Nexus 5000.

In the documentation it states that the 5000 will support up to 12 FEX (fabric extenders).

If a vPC topology is used, where each FEX is connected to two 5000, how many FEX can now be connected.

Is it still 12 FEX per 5000, or is it 12 FEX for the 5000 pair?

No matter how you look at it, each the N5K only able to support 12 FEX's, and each FEX is connecting to both N5K via vPC.
