I have a pair of 5548's that I purchased with the layer 3 routing module as part of a bundle. I am trying to setup some layer 3 routing between a couple of SSVI's but have not had any luck. From one VLAN I can ping both VLAN interfaces but I can not ping across to another host. The remote host has the same issue. I've enabled feature intervace vlan, is something else I need to do?
I can see the layer 3 doughter card if I do a show module, but when I do a show license I don't see anything about layer 3.
Is there something else I need to do with the license or another command I need to enable layer 3 routing? I have the layer 3 license that came with the bundle but there is no PAK or anything to register.
Thanks.

Can you do a basic check to see if the host is running a firewall that is blocking incoming ICMP. If you can ping both vlan interfaces from a host then it looks like routing is working.

Please post the output of show license usage and show feature.

We checked the hosts and everything seems fine, and we could ping those hosts when they were on the same VLAN.
Here is the output, does this look correct for layer 3 routing to work?
Thanks.

Yes, you have the proper license for L3.
Next question will be what kind of routing are you trying to do? Static or dynamic routing? You can configure static just like IOS, but for dynamic routing, you need to enable the feature first.

Thanks for the help.
We are just doing static routing right now and trying to route between directly connected SVI's. If there is no license restriction perhaps I should take a closer look at the hosts.

Hello Expert,
How we can enable the Feature for Dynamic routing?
