Hi All ,

I have below switch at customer location and we are going to have nexus 2248TP-E FEX (supports a total of 48 100/1000BASE-T ports and four 10-Gigabit Ethernet uplinks (SFP+))  to connect server using 1 GB fiber ports.

Uplink between 5548-UP and 2248TP will be 10 G ports.

Can someone confirm whether all nexus 5000 series switches supports FEX ? Is there any limitations like what OS version switch must have ?

Please also share me FEX configuration examples .

Hi,

Yes, the 5500 series support up to 24 FEXs if they are dual homed to 2 5500 switches?
