HI,
i have a nexus 5596 where the SIV will not come up. Some logs are as below. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi
Not sure how you are saying the interface is not up.
Can you check the show interface status of the VLAN.
Also suggest you to have atleast a interface assigned to this VLAN
