Nexus 5k Fibre Channel speed issue

I have a FC link on two Nexus 5000s hard set to 4gig but the speed seems limited to approx 300 Mbps. Any obvious reasons?

300Mb or 300MB???

Potential reasons if everything is OK:

- HDD (or RAID) speed can be slower than link itself

- copying bunch of small files is significantly slower than copying one big file

- 4Gbps is approximately 500MBps

it was working on a former link at approx 2Gbps

Its replication for some appand as above

I believe it may now be the distance between nodes. Over 10km and they have no buffer credit increase.
