Hello guys,
I need your help because I believe we encountered an hardware issue or a bug software.
When I connect multimode fiber between Nexus 6000 & Nexus 2000, ports are down (in below the hardware used)
- Nexus 6000
Product :N6K-C6001-64P
SFP : FET10G
- Nexus 2000
Product :Nexus 2248TP-E
SFP : FET10G
- Multimode fiber : OM3
- Comment : Not shut on the ports
The same test on the same ports with two SFP 10G-Base SR => ports come UP.
The same test on the same ports with one SFP 10G-Base SR on Nexus 6K and one FET10G on Nexus 2K => ports come UP.
I notice when I plug a SFP FET10G on Nexus 6K, no red light appear in the SFP. Same test with other SFP FET 10G give the same result.
Plug SFP FET 10G on Nexus 2K => red light appears
Plug SFP 10G-Base SR on Nexus 2K => read light appears
Plug SFP 10G-Base SR on Nexus 6K => read light appears

Other action done :
- Unplug/plug SFP FET 10G
- Change SFP FET 10G
- Change speed to 'speed 1000' on port and plug SFP.
Nothing has resolved the issue.
What do you think about this ?
Here the Cisco NX-OS used : 7.1(4)N1(1)

FYI,
Feature fex is enable and ports are in fex-fabric mode
switch# sh feature | grep enable
fex 1 enabled
switch# sh run int eth1/11
!Command: show running-config interface Ethernet1/11
interface Ethernet1/11
switchport mode fex-fabric

I resolved the issue ^^.
- install feature fex
- configure switchport mode fex-fabric on ports
- reboot switch
- SFP FET 10G (Transceiver validation failed) already on ports after reboot
- plug SFP 10G-Base SR & unplug & then plug FET 10G
