Nexus 7706 - QSFP-40G-SR-BD

I'm simply trying to interconnect my two Nexus 7706's 40Gb SFP's. No config is on the ports at all. 10Gb MMF is being used. Ports are admin-up, but no connection. Is there any special command for 40Gb and these particular QSFP's?

There is no special command.  As long as the ports are 40Gig and both optics are BD, it should work.  Try crossing the fiber strands on one side of the connection and test again. If not, you may want to use a different fiber patch cord.
