I created new VDCs. Since I have done so, there is not switchport command under the interface configuration.
The interesting this is that it is available on the admin VDC, but not the new VDC I created. I cannot create a peer VPC Peer link between my 2 Nexus switches. I did allocate ports to the new VDC and I did verify the enabled feature are the same.
Any ideas why the switchport command is not available?
TIA!!

Did you allocate the interfaces from the admin vdc for the newly created vdc?
So, let say you want to use e1/1 and e1/2 for vpc peer link. (This is assuming you have blade 1 allocated to the new vdc)
What happens when you try this:
config t
inter e1/1-2
swichport

Hello HTH,
Yes I allocated the VDC using the admin VDC. I found your example useful. I tried the range and it worked. I then realized that I previously created a port-channel and the physical interfaces. The physical interfaces of the group was where I was trying the command I tried switchport command on the port-chanel it's self and it worked.
I am not used to eh the NX-OS and things are a bit different. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!!
