Nexus 93180YC-FX3 QSFP+ FET breakout cable

Hi

I have 2 93180YC-FX3 that I need to connect to my Catalyst 9500 switches.

I have this 40G breakout cable called QSFP+ FET that would have been nice to use for the purpose

But how do i enable this feature on the Nexus 93180?

I get a link in the Catalyst 9500, but no info. No CDP or no mac address either.

Will it even work as long as it is a FET cable?

The command for enabling the breakout from 40G to 10G is:

interface breakout module 1 port 53 map 10g-4x (port 53 is Eth1/53) 

I have link connection between the switch, but no traffic goes over the link.
So I'm guessing that answers the question that a FET transciver is not suited for links between other nodes than FEX'es
