Nexus 9k - LAN ENT SVCS - Smart license required?

Afternoon All,

Prior to some migration works we upgraded a pair of Nexus 9k to release - nxos64-cs.10.3.5.M.bin

We previously had a perpetual licence installed for LAN_ENT_SVCS but we're thinking that we may have to migrate to smart licencing?

Licence output shows Enforcement Type - NOT ENFORCED - What does this mean?

License Usage
=============

(LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG):
Description: LAN license for Nexus 9300-XF
Count: 1
Version: 1.0
Status: IN USE
Enforcement Type: NOT ENFORCED
License Type: Generic

Hello @darren-oconnor.The "Enforcement Type: NOT ENFORCED" means that the system is aware of the license but isn’t strictly enforcing it at the moment. This allows u to continue using the features without disruption, even if u haven’t fully transitioned to Smart Licensing yet, and since Cisco is moving towards Smart Licensing, I say that u should plan to migrate eventually. For now, everything should function as expected under the current setup. looks good.

Cheers @Enes Simnica , appreciate the response.  We're in the process of novating the perpetual licence to Smart so hopefully have the future piece covered.  Just didn't want the "Features" to expiry in the interim.
