Hello.
I am going to do an memory upgrade (4G to 8G) on two Nexus 7000. Since Nexus work with a distributed architecture I would assume that (if no topology changes occur) that the upgrade is non-disruptive since all forward information has been copied to the other line cards. Am I right assuming this?

João Carvalho.

Hello.
I went to the client, remove the supervisor and and modules stop sending traffic. It is distributed but it requires the presence of a supervisor.

HI Joao,
Dont you have redundant Sup module on the Nexus7K?
If you had only one Sup in the chasis and removed the same for upgrading the memory then you diffenetely face this issue.
If in case you had the secondary sup module you could had failover to the secondary and did this changes.
HTH
