Hello,
according to the N2K-C2248TP-1GE Datasheet, the 2248TP has 48x 100/1000 interfaces. With NX-OS 7.0(2)N1(1) on a N5548UP, I am able to configure "speed 10" and it is working, "show int ethxxx/0/xxx capabilites" confirms speed 10/100/1000 and auto. Another Nexus with NX-OS 6.0(2) the command "speed 10" isn't available. "show int ethxxx/0/xxx capabilites" confirms speed 100/1000 and auto.
Does someone know with which NX-OS version "speed 10" has been introduced? Or is this some special kind of bug/feature request implementation without an release note entry? I only found a downgrade bug related with speed 10. I just want to make sure that the commend will still be available with the next upgrade e.g. to 7.2(0)N1(1).
Regards,
Toni

It does look like on 7.x code we support 10mb (speed 10)
command:
I believe you are refering to the following bug:-

Inayath,
you're right with the bug. I didn't find any futher information related to "speed 10" for Nexus 2248TP excpect that bug. Curious, that the feature didn't get a release note entry. For the 100 Mbit for the Nexus 23xx, I found one.
I hope Cisco will not change this behavior without notification. Would be annoying if our two 10Mbit-sensors would become unreachable after a software upgrade.
Regards,
Toni
