Nexus vPC inconsistencies due to different lag-id

Hello,

I have a scenario where 2 Nexus9k are acting as vPC pair and a NetApp appliance is connected to both switches. The port on 1 switch is disabled due to vPC inconsistencies. The only difference I can spot is the number 32 and 52, respectively, in the lag-id.

switch-1# show vpc consistency-parameters interface port-channel 17

Legend:
Type 1 : vPC will be suspended in case of mismatch

Does anyone know what these numbers (32 and 52) mean why they might be different?

Thanks

Hi,

That is part of the Lag id and it should be the same on both sides.

Can you post the config for Po17?

Also, what is the output of "sh port-cha summ"?

HTH

This is on Cisco ACI, so there is no traditional config for the port-channel.

In the meantime we bounced the vPC and it came back up correctly.

Now it is "52" on both sides. Do you have an idea where this number 52 and 32, respectively, are coming from. At the moment I'm not even sure if it is generated on the switch or the NetApp.

switch-1# show port-channel summary
