No alarm in syslog when switch restart

Not sure whether it is normal or not, but when I restart the switch, there is no alarm showing that system is unreachable or restarted.

Only the interface up/down errors.  When I worked with the switches from other vendors, there is critical alarms showing that 'system restarted' , Not sure why Cisco do not showing such kind of alarm.

If this is a Catalyst 9k, post the complete output to the following commands:

sh log on switch active uptime detail
dir crashinfo:

 -  For me it's a bit normal  because the alarm should come before and when the switch becomes unavailable ; usually being achieved by network monitoring systems. It is important to have that 'at that stage' because when the switch becomes unavailable; who is to say it will come back ?(so then you would have no alarm neither)
Perhaps it died because of a hardware problem , or remote power down , or others.
So in standard practice ; 1) the network monitoring system will then give an alarm , 2) you investigate the alarm 3) when the switch does come back automatically you investigate afterwards if it is operating normally , when it doesn't come back you take further measures according to what is needed
