I have a seemingly dead 3560 switch. It errors on boot that the IOS is corrupt. I'd like to reflash it, but there is no command (like xmodem or tftp) do to that at the "switch:" prompt.
I have perused the conversation threads regarding this and there doesn't seem to be a fix in the 500 threads I looked at.
Here is exactly what I need:
With my PC consoled @115200 into the switch, and with the switch at the "switch:" prompt, I need to put a valid IOS on the switch.
The current "corrupt" IOS is: 12.2(35)SE.
Attached file.
BTW, the other IOS that is in the root of flash is also corrup. I tried booting using it, and it did the same thing. FYI
Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris,
xmodem is not always run directly you have to use copy command with xmodem and that is the reason you do not see when you issue help.
So try this command and it should work
copy xmodem: flash:image_filename.bin

Are you sure there is no Xmodem, go over this link , following Catalyst 2970, 3550, 3560 and 3750 series switches section.
the corrupt IOS needs to be deleted to free up space for new code, see instructions in link.
