Hi, I have a WS-C2960S-48FPD-L and for some reason some ports will not supply power, all the ports are configured exactly the same and power is set to auto on all ports. But so far there I have three ports that just won't give power. I don't see any messages in the logs showing any issues. Has anyone else seen this issue and what would be causing this. The switches are new, been in use less than 6 months.
Thanks,
Sayed

Post the output to the command "sh power inline". Please indicate which port(s) are not working.

Do this:
1. Command: test cable tdr interface <BLAH>;
2. Wait for approximately 5 to 7 seconds;
3. Command: sh cable tdr interface <BLAH>; and
4. Post the output to #3 of both interfaces.
What IOS version are you running and post the interface configuration of both ports.

I think bad patchcords or scs.
exchange patchcords in ports 4 and 5
or connect directly to switch some ip phone in ports 5 and 6
