Not able to in enable mode in Cisco switch C3850

Hi All,

 

I have upgraded Cisco Switch C3850 to version 16.9.4 and after that when I tried login to switch user mode password worked but I am not able to go in enable mode and getting message "No Password Set".

 

As the password is already set on the switch and before the upgrade I am able login to the switch. Even before upgrade I have saved all config on the switch but not sure why I am getting this error.

 

Can anyone please help me to get resolve this issue.

your best (and fastest) option is probably to perform a password recovery:

This is the only option we have
As I know the enable password then also I need to recover switch password

Is there no any other way to solve this problem.

First a call I am not sure why switch is giving me No password Set error message

As password is already set on the switch even before the upgrade I am able to login to switch but after upgrade I am not able go in previeledge mode
