not getting ip from DHCP through 2960 switch

PC's are not getting ip address from the DHCP server which is connected beyond 2960 switch.

broadband router(DHCP Server)--------------------------Switch 2960---------------------------PC(DHCP client)

but when i directly connect PC to the broadband router , pc is getting ip address.

i have tried using following options but of no use.

# ip dhcp snooping vlan 1

# ip dhcp snooping trust

# ip dhcp snooping information option allow-untrusted

can anyone provide the config  and help

Is the port where the DHCP server connects to the swtich is an access port or trunk port ??

If you set a static address on a pc and attached to the switch can it ping the dhcp server

Can the switch management address ping the dhcp server and are they in the same subnet
