OSPF Area's

HI

Q1: On which size of my net or prefixes should i use OSPF area's

Q2: Is there any disadvantage to use OSPF Area's in smaller net's - in order of physical or logical grouping

The Net i will built consists of 5 remote sides and each remote sides consists of 15 sub - remote sides (on every sub - remote side there are 2 prefixes (Net's))

Should i put everything in one Backbonearea 0 or make it sense to group the 5 remote - sides into Area's which are connectet to the center backbonearea?

thx

Putting everything in Area 0 might not be a good idea.

I would prefer to group them logically into different areas and connect them to the backbone area wihch helps in faster convergence, easier maintenance (troubleshotting and debugging) , lesser load on SPF calculation etc.,

just my 2 cents but will let the experts to comment on this.
