OSPF NSSA routes

Hey All-

I have a backup route with a static route for a network. Happens to be a nssa ospf area 4. I want to advertise it to my core network.I am redistributing this static into OSPF area 0. Problem is that routing take this E2 path (metric of 10) and not the primary ospf path (metric of 150.)

The OSPF 150 path is the correct path but routes are going to the E2 route. I was thinking about raising the e2 route metric to say 160 so the OSPF 150 route will prevail.

Is this kosher?? The other way I guess is to rethink our nssa. but I dont think its worth my time as it will go away in a while.

Hello

Have you tried redistribute that prefix as an E1 route?
