Ospf unable to form neighborship between router and Nexus 5.1

guys,

i have one router, 2 cat 6509 and 2 nexus 7010 running on multiaccess network. The router or cat 6509 unable to form neighbotship with nexus. it just stucked at exchange process. I have tried without authentication, ospf priority, int wont help. I also tried putting the ospf mtu-ginore at all devices. this command also did not help.

However if i shut down the vlan/interface on both nexus, the router can establish neighborship with cat6509. below is the debug on the router.

anyone come across this problem?

I don't know what subnetting are you using, but you have an ip addressing problem from what I see.

Sorry , all the devices are in same subnet having diferent router -id.

I see, you must have configured router-id yourself.

Sorry I can't see nothing else on this output.

foudn the problem. the nexus has the loop prevention logic which does not allow traffic to traverse destine to a vPC member port.

" when external devices attempt to form a routing adjacency with the Nexus 7000′s over the vPC peer-link, some traffic destined for a vPC member port can be forced over the peer-link even when the network is healthy, causing traffic to be dropped by the loop prevention logic"

need to exclude the vlan from propagting via vpn domain.

command peer-gateway exclude vlann x.x.x.
