Packet capture in 6500

Hi,

In our campus we are getting high cpu due to some snmp process, but cpu spike only for 15 to 20 seconds.

is there any chance to capture the pcap in switch during that spike time(cpu 80 to 100%) only ?

Kindly help on this issue

If you need packet capture only during high CPU, would suggest to use EEM script

Hi sathvik,

Can u please suggest the configuration for the EEM script..

Also we found our Cisco prime infrastructure causing the high cpu.

If we deny the PI there will be no CPU spike..

Is there any troubleshooting or configuration need to done for this issue..but we are getting in all our sites due to this in different process I'd ..

Affected sup like 720 but in core we are not getting that issue with same sup and ios.

Kindly suggest any action plan regarding the high cpu due to the High cpu due to snmp..

Not much aware about the PI may be you can post in Network management forum.

Can you paste the logs fo show process cpu sorted during CPU hike.
