Hi,
I'm having difficulties getting passive PoE type devices (CPE, WAP, IP Cam) working on two SG100D-08P switches recently purchased. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Todd Andersen

Hi,
As this box is unmanaged there is nothing you can configure and it should work with the default settings.
I am sure you have noticed that only ports 1 through 4 support PoE. Also due to the total PoE power budget of 33,6 Watts you can provide power either to qty 4 of Class 2 devices or only qty 2 of Class 3 devices. This refers to 802.3af standard (ie. not later 802.3at standard).
So provided your device is 802.3af compliant you only check the Class type (or power required) and just connect the device to port 1 to 4 via the standard cable.
If your problem persist can you be more specific please and provide the device (model) information.
Thanks & Regards,
Antonin
