Patch Cord Length from Switch to workstation desktop PC

Have a client that wants to centralize a 48 port switch to feed around 8 workstation desk.  They want to use CAT6 patch cords from switch to PC device at top of workstation desk. Are there any specs on maximum patch cord length from Switch to PC device?

Yes, there is. It should not exceed 100 meters.
