Hi All,
Cisco recommends at least 2 peer-links and one keep alive between 2 x Nexus 7k, I'm confused the different/purposes between peerlinks and keepalive link, if we have 2 peerlinks why do we need keepalive here? I would assume they're all using the same 10Gb fiber optic.
Thanks.

Hi,
You usually need 2 10Gig links for peer-link and 1 1Gig link (management port) for keep alive link. The keep alive link does not need to be 10Gig, as it is only used for heard beat between the 7ks.
Here is good doc on peer link and peer keep alive.
