I recently obtained a new ISP. I removed the Ethernet patch cable from the former ISP, and patched the new ISP into my PIX (v6.2). I changed the "ip address outside 64.1.1.1 255.255.255.248" statement in the config to reflect the new static IP address given to me by the new ISP. I also changed the "global (outside) 1 64.1.1.2" and "route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 64.1.1.3 1" statements accordingly. Now I can ping the Internet from the PIX. I can also ping the inside address of the PIX from devices on the LAN. However, I cannot ping the Internet from a device on the LAN. I want the devices on the LAN to communicate with the Internet. Any idea what I may have done incorrectly?
Thank you,
Todd

Hi Todd,
Did you issue "clear xlate" and "clear arp" commands after your modificatons?
Can you attach the config?
