Hi,
"Polycom" phone connected to cisco switch - c4506 port does not get an IP . I'm using Microsoft DHCP. below is the switch port configuration. lldp is configured on cicso switch. how to ensure the dhcp - "discover" packet is sending out to microsoft dhcp server? Can anyone shed some light Pls?

Hello,
how is the Windows DHCP server configured ? Polycom requires option 66, and if that is not available, falls back to option 160.
You also need to configure 'spanning-tree portfast' on the ports of the 4500

yes , option 66 was configured. option 66/120/43 required for polycom phone but somehow it was not getting IP. i reset "lldp run" cisco switch then phone got the IP. now its working fine :) . Thank you for your support.

First, you need to configure IP helper-address on Layer 3 interface for - ip helper-address (IP Address of DHCP Server)
