Port 5002 is being used by system

Hello,

help me pls, 

There is strange error while configuring nat on cisco 7600 router with asa and ace modules.

#ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.1.3 5002 <outside-ip> 5002

%Port 5002 is being used by system

sh ip sockets  - doesnt display any used port udp/5002

can you try natting other ports, is it a success ?

It can be a bug, not sure but suspect this.

Also come up with the IOS version you are using ..

nat for tcp is working

nat for udp is not working Port is being used by system

Dear Fanrus,

I came across a few forums online where it is declared as bug. Try a different IOS..

I am sure it will resolve the issue.

I actually got it to accept the nat statement.  I shut the WAN interface, then cleared the nat translations, and then it took my source static tcp command.

But it doesn't seem to be working.  sh ip nat translations doesn't show anything for 10.5.7.18:5222 and the chat server is still offline
