Port-security aging time

Hi,

Following port security commands has been configured

switchport port-security aging time 100 ( seconds)

switchport port-security mac sticky

switchport port-security max 4

Dynamicalley MAC address will be learned

for 4 different hosts and an entry will be made. If there is one host which is powered off then this un-used mac-entry will be dynamically removed after 100 seconds.( this will reduce the currently active mac to three and now we can add last that is fourth PC ). Is this correct?

Your understanding on port-security aging time is correct. By default this setting is set to 0, never ages out.
