Hi,
Why Can't Port-Security Be Configured On a Dynamic Desirable Interface (Default), Why Must The Interface Be Configured As Access Or Trunk, I Can't See The Relation Between Port-Security And VLAN, Shouldn't I Be Able To Configure Port-Security Without Changing The Default VLAN Configuration Of an Interface?
Thank You In Advance.

This Is The Error I'm Getting, Also This Is Mentioned In Cisco's Official Get Cert And All Over The Internet, But I Haven't Seen Any Explanation To Why It's Rejected.

Step 2 Switch(config-if)# switchport mode access Sets the interface mode.
Note An interface in the default mode (dynamic
desirable) cannot be configured as a secure port

Thanks For Your Reply, But This Is What Confuses Me, Why a Dynamic Desirable Interface Be Configured With Port Security?
